Karina Gorbachevskaya is a cinematographer, director, and photographer. She has been creating visual content for production companies and musicians worldwide since 2014, working across commercial, narrative, and documentary formats.

Karina’s exceptional talent is built on a foundation of prestigious education. She received her formal training at the renowned Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), graduating in 2017 with a degree in cinematography. VGIK, one of the oldest and most respected film schools in the world, provided her with the technical mastery and artistic sensibility that define her distinctive visual approach.

Her portfolio spans both fiction and documentary films, as well as campaigns for international brands including Uniqlo, ELLE, Maxim, Xerjoff, Amway, Kevin Murphy, Sela, Alfa Capital, Afi Development, Tiger Cave, Peopletalk, MyDecor, Marie Claire, Woman.ru, Zemits, FIFA, and Shkulev Media Holding.

Her work, developed in collaboration with award-winning directors, has been officially selected and showcased at international film festivals, including Kinotavr, Window to Europe and Cinema ART.

A special place in her work is dedicated to cultural projects for the Tretyakov Gallery, Erarta and MMOMA museums, and other prestigious institutions.

In addition to her film practice, she teaches film composition at a film school.
